Giddha Boliyan Classes
The Giddha Hub hosts workshops in the Sacramento and Davis areas to create opportunities for students to learn boliyan. Boliyan or bolis are couplets that are sung in Punjab. They are generally passed down generation by generation, orally. Our workshops teach boliyan to help bridge the generational gaps that can sometimes be the consequence of living abroad.
Giddha Choreography Classes
These classes focus on teaching introductory and intermediate choreographies to songs and boliyan. They will go over doing adhi and taadi, as well as, fostering confidence in each dancers’ skills.
